Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before adding the patch kit to your routine.
What are hydrocolloid pimple patches used for?
Hydrocolloid patches help absorb surface fluid from suitable blemishes while covering the area. They can also help reduce direct touching or picking at the covered spot.
How do I choose the right patch shape?
Choose a small round patch for a localized spot, a long strip for an elongated area, or a curved patch when its shape better suits the area you want to cover.
How do I apply a patch correctly?
Start with clean, completely dry skin. Apply the patch without stretching it, press gently to help the edges lie flat, and follow the package directions for wear time and removal.
Why does a patch turn white or cloudy?
Hydrocolloid can become cloudy or white as it absorbs surface fluid. This appearance does not mean that every type of blemish has been removed or treated.
Can these patches help with closed comedones?
Hydrocolloid patches generally work by absorbing surface fluid. Closed comedones and deep blemishes may not release surface fluid, so a patch may have limited benefit for those concerns.
Can I wear the patches overnight?
Follow the wear time stated on the product packaging. If overnight wear is permitted by the instructions, apply the patch to clean, dry skin and remove it as directed.
How many patches are included in the kit?
The provided artwork shows 364 patches in 8 sizes. Check the selected product variant and actual package details before ordering, as pack counts can differ between versions.
Can I apply the patches over skincare products or makeup?
For better adhesion, apply the patch to clean, completely dry skin without moisturizer, oil or makeup underneath. Follow the product instructions for the best application method.
